Food Delivery

Food Delivery Software Development

We design and build custom food delivery and grocery software — customer ordering apps, delivery marketplaces, driver apps, and restaurant management systems — for restaurants, delivery platforms, and grocery businesses.

Software built for food delivery

Food and grocery delivery runs on order accuracy, real-time tracking, and reliable performance during peak demand. Sigi Technologies builds the web and mobile software that connects customers, restaurants, stores, and drivers into one dependable ordering and delivery flow.

We work with restaurants and grocers going direct-to-consumer, startups launching delivery marketplaces, and cloud kitchens running delivery-only brands — from single-store ordering to multi-vendor platforms and omnichannel grocery operations.

What we build for Food Delivery

Food Delivery Marketplaces

End-to-end platforms connecting customers with restaurants — discovery, menus, checkout, restaurant dashboards, driver apps, and order routing.

  • Customer, merchant and driver apps on one backend, as built on our multi-country platform

  • Menus, modifiers and checkout with region-based payment routing

  • Restaurant dashboards for order acceptance and prep status

  • Server-side order routing to available drivers

Grocery & Hyperlocal Delivery

On-demand grocery apps with product browsing, cart management, real-time inventory sync, delivery scheduling, and route optimization.

  • Product browsing, cart and real-time inventory, as built for Kwik eMart

  • Multi-retailer catalogs on one platform

  • Delivery scheduling and zone-based coverage

  • Live map order tracking via Google Maps or OpenStreetMap

Online Ordering & Cloud Kitchens

Branded ordering apps and sites with menu modifiers, dietary filters, scheduled orders, and kitchen display system integration for QSR and ghost kitchens.

  • Branded ordering storefronts, as built for Busy Bean

  • Menu modifiers, dietary filters and scheduled orders

  • Stripe checkout with QuickBooks accounting sync

  • Ticket printing to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi receipt printers

Restaurant Delivery & Fleet

Self-managed delivery systems with order assignment, in-house fleet management, delivery zones, and dynamic pricing.

  • In-house fleet management and driver assignment

  • Delivery zones and dynamic pricing

  • One order state machine shared across every app

  • Group ordering with per-person payment

Driver & Logistics Apps

Driver apps with route optimization, GPS tracking, ETA calculations, proof of delivery, and earnings tracking.

  • Route and live GPS tracking with ETAs

  • Proof of delivery at each drop

  • Earnings and payout tracking

  • Firebase push for new-order and status alerts

Restaurant & Grocery Management

Back-office systems with POS integration, multi-channel order management, inventory tracking, reorder alerts, and sales reporting.

  • Multi-channel order management in one dashboard

  • Inventory tracking and reorder alerts

  • Commission, service-fee and refund policies applied automatically

  • Sales reporting and partner payouts via Stripe Connect

Food Delivery businesses we serve

Restaurants & QSR going direct-to-consumer

Branded ordering storefronts and partner portals with payments and accounting sync — as built for Busy Bean.

Grocers & rapid delivery

Customer, retailer and driver surfaces with real-time inventory and live map tracking — as built for Kwik eMart.

Multi-vendor delivery marketplaces

Customer, merchant and driver apps on one backend with server-side dispatch — as built on our multi-country platform.

Cloud & ghost kitchens

Delivery-only ordering with menu modifiers, scheduled orders and ticket printing to counter hardware.

Multi-country operators

Platforms that route checkout by market — Adyen and TWINT in Switzerland, Stripe and PayPal elsewhere — from one order flow.

Coffee & specialty retail with partner networks

Storefronts plus partner and supplier dashboards that get money in from partners and pay them on time — as built for Busy Bean.

How we build food delivery software

  1. Discovery & operations mapping

We map how orders, kitchens or stores, drivers and money actually move — including how checkout should route by region — and turn that into a scoped roadmap.

  2. UX/UI design in Figma

Every role — customer, restaurant or store, driver, admin — gets its screens designed and reviewed in Figma before engineering starts.

  3. Architecture & build

We build the shared backend — one order model, dispatch and payments — first, then the customer, merchant and driver surfaces on top, so no two apps disagree about an order.

  4. QA automation & CI/CD

Critical flows are covered by Playwright end-to-end tests that gate every merge, with automated deployments to staging and production.

  5. Launch & support

We handle iOS/Android store submission and cloud deployment, then stay on for iteration, monitoring and new features.

Systems and tools we integrate

We build against the payment, maps, accounting and hardware a food or grocery operator already runs — including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi receipt printers on the counter. Card payments run through Stripe, Adyen and PayPal, which handle PCI compliance, so card data never touches our clients’ servers.

End-to-end build

We scope, design, build and ship the whole platform — customer, merchant and driver apps, admin and backend — then support it. The model behind Busy Bean, Kwik eMart and our multi-country food & grocery platform.

Food Delivery software: questions we get asked

Food delivery marketplaces, grocery and hyperlocal delivery, branded online ordering and cloud-kitchen apps, restaurant delivery and fleet systems, driver apps, and restaurant and grocery back-office management — across web, iOS and Android, and admin dashboards.

Yes. We typically build every surface on one backend. On our multi-country platform that was a customer app, a merchant app, a driver app and an admin panel in Flutter on a Node.js, MySQL and Redis stack; Busy Bean added partner and supplier dashboards alongside the storefront.

We route checkout by market — for example Adyen with TWINT for Switzerland and Stripe or PayPal elsewhere — and use Stripe Connect to pay partners and drivers out. The payment gateways handle PCI compliance, so sensitive card data never touches our clients’ servers.

Yes. We integrate accounting such as QuickBooks (as on Busy Bean), push tickets to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi receipt printers already on the counter, and send order updates through Firebase Cloud Messaging and transactional email.

Every order runs on one backend model that all surfaces read from, with dispatch (typically Redis-backed) releasing an order to a driver the moment a merchant marks it ready and a real-time layer pushing each status change out, so nobody has to phone in to ask where an order is.

Both. We build end to end (as with Busy Bean, Kwik eMart and our multi-country platform), embed engineers in your team, or provide a dedicated cross-functional team.
