E-commerce

E-Commerce Software Development

We design and build scalable e-commerce and retail software — custom storefronts, multi-vendor marketplaces, B2B and headless commerce, mobile apps, and POS — for online stores and omnichannel brands.

Software built for e-commerce

Online retail runs on conversion, speed, and reliable operations. Sigi Technologies builds e-commerce software that handles traffic spikes during promotions, streamlines fulfillment, and delivers smooth shopping experiences across web and mobile.

We work with D2C brands, retailers moving to multi-vendor models, and enterprises scaling omnichannel commerce — from single-store websites and Shopify customization to marketplaces and headless architectures.

What we build for E-commerce

Custom E-commerce Platforms

Tailored storefronts with catalog management, faceted search, conversion-optimized checkout, and multi-currency, multi-language support.

  • Catalog, variants and seasonal collections modeled on how the brand merchandises

  • Conversion-optimized, PCI-compliant hosted checkout

  • Multi-currency and multi-language storefronts

  • Admin-run merchandising, discounts and shipping zones — no developer needed

Multi-Vendor Marketplaces

Platforms connecting many sellers with vendor onboarding, order routing, commission and payment splitting, and ratings and reviews.

  • Vendor, partner and supplier onboarding with role-based portals

  • Order routing to the right seller and fulfillment partner

  • Commission and payout splitting via Stripe Connect

  • Ratings, reviews and supplier dashboards

B2B & Headless Commerce

Wholesale portals with account-based pricing, bulk ordering, and quotes, plus API-first headless builds with custom React/Next.js frontends.

How we build e-commerce software

  1. Discovery & commerce mapping

We map how the catalog, orders, fulfillment and money actually move today — channels, payment methods, carriers and the systems already in use — and turn that into a scoped roadmap.

  2. UX/UI design in Figma

Storefront, collection, product, cart and checkout templates are designed at mobile width first using real product photography, then reviewed in Figma before engineering starts.

  3. Architecture & build

We build the catalog and order model and services first — or the Shopify theme and app layer — then the web and mobile surfaces on top, so every screen reads one source of truth.

  4. QA automation & CI/CD

Critical flows — catalog, cart and checkout — are covered by Playwright end-to-end tests that gate every merge, with automated deployments to staging and production.

  5. Launch & support

We handle store or cloud deployment and, for mobile, iOS/Android store submission — then stay on for performance tuning, campaigns, iteration and new features.

Systems and tools we integrate

We build against the storefronts, payment rails, accounting systems and marketing platforms a retailer already runs — as documented, API-first integrations rather than one-off code.

E-commerce software: questions we get asked

Custom storefronts, Shopify theme and app development, multi-vendor marketplaces, B2B and headless commerce, mobile shopping apps, and POS, subscription and analytics tooling — across web, iOS and Android, and admin dashboards. The marketplace how-to is /blog/how-to-build-a-multi-vendor-marketplace.

Both. On ZIVA we customized a Kalles theme in Liquid on Shopify so a non-technical team runs merchandising, discounts and campaigns from the admin. When a business needs more than a hosted platform, we build custom storefronts and backends — as with Busy Bean (React, Node, MySQL) and Kwik eMart (Laravel and React Native).

Yes. We integrate Shopify’s hosted checkout and Stripe for payments, Stripe Connect for splitting money across partners and suppliers (as on Busy Bean), and QuickBooks for accounting sync. We also support local methods like cash on delivery, bank transfer and IBFT, as we did for ZIVA in Pakistan.

Yes. We ship native iOS and Android apps in React Native or Flutter, with push, SMS and email notifications, live order tracking, and photo proof of delivery — as built across the customer, retailer and driver apps for Kwik eMart.

On ZIVA we served every image through a CDN with srcset and width parameters, used native lazy loading on product and collection media, removed unused theme sections and their CSS/JS, and deferred third-party scripts so the largest contentful paint is a sized, prioritized image.

Both. We build end to end (as with Busy Bean, Kwik eMart and the agritech marketplace), embed engineers in your team, or provide a dedicated cross-functional team.
