CASE STUDY

Real Estate Website and Lead Generation for SHS Estate & Builders

SHS Estate & BuildersReal estate & construction7-Minute Read

SHS Estate & Builders is a Lahore real-estate agency and builder that manages rental and investment property for its clients. In March 2020 the agency hired Sigi Technologies to develop a WordPress website; the engagement grew into SEO, Google Ads, and social advertising so the site would produce inquiries rather than page views. The site was built around one path: a project board visible the moment a visitor lands, a single-click inquiry pop-up, and a stored record the SHS team can follow up on.

A Lahore real estate agency that needed inquiries, not a brochure

SHS Estate & Builders is a real-estate agency and builder based in Lahore, Pakistan. It runs a property investment service that manages both rental and non-rental holdings, from estate homes to studio apartments and commercial units. A team of one to ten people runs the business, and its CTO, Zaibunnisa Azam, personally handles social media marketing and the inquiries that arrive through the website and social channels.

When the agency approached Sigi Technologies in early 2020, it needed a website of its own. Property prospects in Lahore compare agents on portals and social media before they call, so a firm without a credible site and a visible presence in Google results is hard to shortlist. The brief started as a real estate website on WordPress. Within the same engagement it grew into SEO, Google Ads, and social advertising, because a site with no traffic and no inquiry path was only half of what SHS needed.

The problem: visibility, credibility, and a leaky inquiry path

The CTO framed the brief simply: the agency needed a website, and it needed a partner who was easy to reach while the site was being built. Behind that sat three gaps the engagement ended up covering.

  • No owned presence: prospects could find SHS on portals such as Zameen.com, but there was no site of the company’s own to show projects, services, and contact details in one place.
  • Limited search visibility: SEO and paid search were not part of the original brief; they were added once it was clear that a site without traffic would not generate leads on its own.
  • No inquiry record: interest arrived through social media and phone calls that the CTO handled personally, and a structured record of who had asked about what was one of the outcomes the CTO later singled out.

A fourth constraint shaped every decision: budget. The CTO wanted a partner who could explain trade-offs plainly, stay reachable, and deliver inside a small-business marketing budget, and later described Sigi as “always willing to work within our budget.” The engagement stayed in the under-$10,000 band, with spend under $5,000.

Solution architecture: a WordPress real estate website feeding Google Ads, social, and SEO

The first conversation was about how to build, not what. Sigi’s managing director, Shahnawaz, walked the CTO through the difference between a WordPress build and a custom-coded PHP application. For a small agency whose site is mostly project pages, service descriptions, and an inquiry form, WordPress won: faster to launch, cheaper to maintain, and editable by the SHS team without a developer on call.

The second decision was to treat the website and the campaigns as a single funnel. Google Ads and social ads send visitors to the pages built to convert them; SEO grows the organic share of the same traffic over time; and every route ends in the same inquiry pop-up, so the SHS team sees one stream of leads regardless of source. Three components make that work:

  • A WordPress website with a project showcase, service pages, and a persistent inquiry call-to-action.
  • Paid acquisition through Google Ads for search intent and social media advertising for reach among Lahore property buyers.
  • On-page and technical SEO so the site earns organic visibility after the ad spend stops.

The stack we built it on

The site is a WordPress build on PHP, chosen so SHS could add projects and edit content from an admin panel without a developer on call, while Sigi could still extend it with custom PHP where the standard blocks fell short. Around it sits the acquisition layer that makes the site earn its keep: Google Ads for search intent, social advertising for reach among Lahore property buyers, and on-page and technical SEO for organic visibility once the ad spend stops — every route ending in the same stored inquiry. It is a lean setup one team can own end to end, the kind of web application development and lead-generation work Sigi runs for small businesses.

How the platform is built and run

SHS’s site is a lean WordPress build, run so a small team can own the website and the campaigns that feed it:

  • A WordPress build on PHP, so the SHS team can add projects and edit content from the admin panel without a developer, while Sigi extends it with custom PHP where the standard blocks fall short.
  • One inquiry path — a single-click pop-up whose submissions are all stored — so leads from Google Ads, social and organic search land in the same record set rather than scattered across calls and messages.
  • On-page and technical SEO on the WordPress build, so pages index cleanly and can be found for the agency’s name and services after the ad spend stops.
  • A small two-person client interface (managing director and a dedicated project manager), tracked in Trello with phone updates and kept inside the agreed budget.

What we implemented: the website and campaigns

Sigi designed, built and ran every part of the funnel, from the WordPress site to the paid and organic campaigns feeding it. Here is what we implemented.

Website: project showcase and single-click inquiry

  • Project board: what the CTO calls a “chart board” on the website presents SHS’s current projects and offerings the moment a visitor lands, so the pitch is visible without navigation.
  • Single-click inquiry: one click opens a pop-up where the prospect writes their question; the submission is stored rather than lost in a chat thread.
  • Service and about pages covering the agency’s property investment, rental and non-rental management, and building services.
  • WordPress admin so the SHS team can add projects and edit content without a developer.

Google Ads and social media advertising

  • Search campaigns on Google Ads aimed at buyers actively looking for property and builders in Lahore, sending clicks to the relevant project pages.
  • Social media advertising to reach prospects who are browsing rather than searching, aligned with the social marketing the CTO already runs.
  • Campaigns sized to the agency’s budget and adjusted as inquiries came in; Sigi kept managing them after the website was handed over.

SEO for Lahore property searches

  • On-page optimization of project and service pages for the queries a Lahore buyer actually types.
  • Technical hygiene on the WordPress build so pages index cleanly and can be found for the agency’s name and services.
  • SEO handled as a continuing service alongside the paid campaigns rather than a one-off audit.

Inquiry management and the client database

  • Every inquiry from the pop-up form is stored, giving SHS what the CTO calls “a very good database of our clients.”
  • Leads from Google Ads, social, and organic search land in the same record set, so follow-up does not depend on which channel a buyer used.
  • The CTO, who handles inquiries personally, works from one list instead of reconciling calls, comments, and direct messages.

Delivery: a two-person client interface, Trello, and phone updates

The client-facing team was deliberately small: Shahnawaz as managing director and a dedicated project manager, with the wider Sigi team working behind them. Progress was tracked in Trello and updates came by phone, which suited a CTO who wanted answers quickly rather than long written reports. The team stuck with the schedule and delivered its tasks on time throughout.

  • Kick-off meetings to clarify the business model before scoping; the CTO’s advice to future clients is to ask enough questions in those meetings to get clarity about their own business model.
  • WordPress development delivered as the first phase and handed over, while campaign work continued.
  • SEO and Google Ads management as a continuing service after launch.
  • Scope kept inside the under-$10,000 band.

The team and expertise behind the build

Sigi hires specialists: every engineer is an expert in their own field, and Sigi hires only for that depth. It invests in its people, too — the team keeps sharpening their skills and earning certifications as they deliver, which keeps expert, motivated engineers on every build. SHS’s site and campaigns were delivered by one cross-functional Sigi team — a project lead, UI/UX designers, WordPress engineers and paid-and-organic marketing specialists — working as a single unit rather than passing the work between vendors. It is the model Sigi has run since 2016: experts with deep, cross-industry expertise owning the whole funnel, from the WordPress build to the Google Ads, social and SEO campaigns that feed it. A lead-generation website where the site and the acquisition around it have to work as one is exactly the kind of web application and UI/UX design work Sigi’s team is built for.

Outcome and client feedback

In November 2021 the CTO scored the engagement 5.0 for quality, schedule, cost, and willingness to refer, and described a website that shows projects to every visitor and turns interest into a stored inquiry with a single click. At that point the web build had wrapped up and Sigi was still managing the SEO and Google Ads campaigns.

We have no complaints in regards to our project because they always go above and beyond.

Related work: company websites and landing pages built to convert

Several Sigi projects are small-business websites built to generate leads. The Madina Steel corporate websites case study covers a multi-site build for a manufacturer, the Havoc DFW event services website is another lead-driven single-company site, and the UK dry-cleaner landing pages show paid-traffic pages built purely for conversion. Two larger products apply the same funnel thinking at product scale: My Dormot, a construction super app covering building materials, trades, and contractor booking, and VinCash, a Canadian sell-your-car-online platform that turns a license-plate or VIN lookup into a cash offer.
